Fabric

Indigo is considered to have been the first dye used in the world. Japanese indigo is also very popular outside of Japan, and is known by the name "Japan Blue." The Items dyed with natural indigo are resistant to fading. Natural indigo also offers a variety of other benefits, including compounds that repel insects. The base is a plain weave fabric made of organic cotton 40 count single yarn and 20 count single yarn. It is characterized by the use of fine yarns and a bit loose weave to reduce the volume of the fabric. The result is a sturdy and soft fabric that is crude yet elegant.
