As you might know, SAKIORI is one of the origin of KUON as well as BORO. It is a traditional way to reuse, revive and/or upcycle worn-out cloth in TOHOKU region, JAPAN. There is a similarity among the born of BORO, SAKIORI and SASHIKO that these techniques are invented by Japanese spirit of sustainability called "MOTTAINAI". In addition, our SAKIORI not only showing the spirit of "MOTTAINAI" but also supports people with disabilities to provide opportunities to work.
Anyways, enjoy the pictures taken with a vintage film camera. They show unique warmth compared to digital ones.
