The first pop-up event in KUON Flagship Store will be taken place this weekend.
After we delivered all products from FW20, we have considered to have some events in our store to introduce something that underlying KUON. We all thought "小川商店 -Ogawa Shoten-" was the first choice. "Ogawa Shoten" is an antique store in Komazawa, Tokyo that is specialized in "folk art" not only from Japan but also around the world.
When we founded KUON, we needed to know authentic beauties to produce beautiful things that never go out of date. (Perhaps, it's better to say even if they went out of date, they keep shining and remain beautiful.) We found one answer in "Folk art". The owner, Mr. Ogawa is one of our mentors who shared their knowledge based on their experience in "Folk art".
For this event, Mr. Ogawa picked up some items that are still shining and show the beauty of "folk art" from all over the world. We hope you enjoy touching, feeling and experiencing a part of our roots. Mr. Ogawa will be at the venue on Friday, 13th and Saturday, 14th.
