Looking back the FW2022 Collection

Hi, this is Shohei.

It's already December from today. Finally, winter has come!

I think this is the most enjoyable season for fashion addicts, as we bought coats, pants, and jackets for winter and have been waiting to wear them.

Whether you are thinking about buying fall/winter clothes or are full of them, please stay with me until the end as I review the fall/winter 2022 collection along with the goods I purchased, and would like to buy.

The first one is...

【SASHIKO Trimmed Kimono Collar Jacket】

At the wholesale market for buyers in February 2022, I saw the jacket at first glance and decided to order it.

At the time, I had something in mind to wear a kind of tailored jacket to be looked mature next season.

As I had expected, I was pleased when our customer was like "Mr. Hasegawa, you are looking sharper than usual."

I was also attracted to the KUON original collar, which reminded me of Japanese kimonos, and the fact that black from KUON collection was fresh, and I felt the warmth of the Sashiko hand stitching on the collar.

When I wear it, the sleeves and back are made of a stretchy knit material, so it's really comfortable! Although it is a jacket, feels like wearing a cardigan.

The next one is,

AIZOME KASURI x NYLON Cargo Trousers

This is an updated version of the designer's well worn cargo pants from a past collection, and I didn't need any time to decide to order it.

They were sold well in the store and sold out super quick. We still have a few of the same type of pants produced in corduroy fabric in stock. If you are interested, please refer to this article.

They have already been washed several times, so they have become much softer. I will monitor the ageing of the indigo dyed kasuri fabric over time.

Looking at the back side, you can clearly see the color difference in the threads unique to kasuri. Perhaps the front side will be like this over time...

"Marine Blue" color itself is the reason for me to order them.

I prefer to wear the sleeves folded up to show the glossy fabric back of the sleeve openings as shown in the photo.

The trim on the front is insulated, and it is warm as if wearing a scarf. It also provides a unique look.

Talking about another trim on the sleeve, it is designed to be wider as it goes to the sleeve opening so that the sleeves and your shape look smarter.

Then, going on to the pants.

As many of you might know, the style it self is one of KUON's standard one. It is arranged slightly depends on the fabrics used.

The biggest reason I ordered these pants is the color, but I like the shape as well. Relaxed fit around thigh, and tapered leg and ankle length. They come with belt made out of the same corduroy fabric, so I don't need to worry about belts.

These are the goods I ordered. Lastly, I would like to write about the ones I would like to buy in this year.

I like the ones from SS22 collection, so I would like to add an fall/winter version of them, too. The fabric is brushed cotton flannel, heavier and thicker, so the pleats on the front is more emphasized.
