KUON x TAGS WKGPTY's "Stay Gold" collection has been received good reactions, so I'll introduce you guys some style samples with KUON products from the main collections. Please take a look.
Before that,
This collaboration was planned with an idea to brighten up the world that was depressed by the COVID-19.
The two designers, who were classmates at school, created this collection as an extension of their playfulness.
The collection "Stay Gold" was inspired by Francis Ford Coppola’s The Outsiders and its theme song, which both designers were inspired by during their school days.
TAGS WKGPTY's strength is its collage technique, and the graphic "Woven Song" is a representation of textiles, with the hope that the beautiful fabrics made by KUON will be preserved forever. In HYPEBEAST USA, it has been introduced as "they affect a similar appearance to KUON’s boro stitching,".
The collaged English text is derive from the lyrics of the theme song of "The Outsiders," and is filled with memories of their youth and the skills and experiences they have developed since graduation.
