As we informed, all products from our FW20 collection have delivered to our retail partners and our store. Now, we would like to introduce an product that is available only at our store both online and offline.
White/Brown and Black/Gray patterns are available worldwide, but this color combination is available only at KUON.
Let's take a closer look.
First of all, the jersey fabric is our standard one that is air-permeable 100% cotton jersey that has moderate thickness and supple elasticity so that it can be worn comfortably in all seasons. It has been tumble dried before cutting, so you don't have to worry about the shrinkage after washing.
In addition, the neckline is reinforced to keep its shape after repeated washing.
Move on to the trimmed fabric.
The fabric is invented based on the concept of FW20. It is the mixture of British and Japanese cultures. The crossed SASHIKO part emphasizes the three dimensional surface. Some people think it is embroidery, but this is made with a Japanese traditional technic called SASHIKO-ORI (SASHIKO Weave). It took so much effort for us to realize this technic with current shuttle weaving machines. Also, it takes so long to be woven.
This is minor detail, but the bottom of the chest pocket is rounded. To realize it with elastic fabrics require skilled sawing technic. Look at the bottom part of some Pocket Tees you have, are they rounded?
