Happy New Year!
This is Shohei. May 2022 be a happy and great year for you.
Thanks to all of you, I had had so much fun working at KUON Flagship Store since the beginning of 2021. I look forward to seeing you guys in this year too. Today, I would like to introduce a special item and an event along with the new year's greeting.
Vintage Boro Daruma
“Daruma” is a traditional Japanese tumbler doll representing Bodhidharma, who founded the Zen Buddhism in the 6th century. It is loved by Japanese people as a talisman. When we decide a goal, paint in an eye, and paint in the other when the goal is achieved.
We arranged Daruma by covering it with Vintage Boro fabric. As you can see, it is super cool. Of course, all of them are one-of-a-kind, so hurry to the store if you would like to make a selection. It is available only at KUON Flagship Store.
One customer who purchased one displayed it in his conference room.
"Thank you for sharing the photo! We are happy it is displayed nicely."
Special Day (40% OFF)
And here is about the special event, "Hatsuuri". It means that retailers start business for the first time in the new year. Traditionally retailers prepare special items, like "Fukubukuro (lucky bag)" and special markdown as a token of appreciation to their customers. The origins and meanings are different, but Hatsuuri can be said "Japanese version of Black Friday".
This year, we have a "特売-Special Day-" event, put simply, special markdown at KUON Flagship Store. Actually it has been started from the 5th as we mentioned in the newsletter. If you haven't subscribed yet, go down to the bottom of this page to subscribe. We hope that our customers, who support us will enjoy this event as if it were "祭り (Japanese traditional festivals)" which have been canceled due to the COVID outbreak.
For this event, we dug out many archive products and put them in the store, so that old customers will feel nostalgic and customers who have recently started visiting KUON will feel fresh.
For who cannot visit the store, don't worry! The e-store is also being prepared to host the event from noon on Saturday the 8th (JST). Please look forward to it.
Thank you!
