DORO-ZOME(Mud Dye) is a natural dying technique unique to Amami Oshima, a small island of Kagoshima prefecture. After dying with the essence of Techi tree (Yeddo hawthorn) and soaking in the muddy rice field, this process is repeated over and over again until the color stays. During this process,  irons in the mud and tannin pigments of Techi tree are gradually combined and the color becomes deeper and more glossy. The base is a dead-stock 10oz denim found in Kojima, Okayama.
