A traditional woolen fabric from the Tyrol region of Austria. In order to survive the harsh, wet winters of the Alps, it is subjected to a powerful shrinking process that makes it dense to resist wind, cold and water. Originally, the fabric has a coarse look, but by slowly shrinking the fabric woven with Super 100 yarn, combing the surface in one direction, and then pressing, a beautiful luster and soft touch is added. The result is a versatile material that adds softness and texture to the inherent warmth and water resistance of Loden cloth.
