Karamiori is know as Japanese leno weave, a very old textile production method, believed to have originated some time in the Nara period(CE 710 to 794). It often seen in kimono and obi suitable to be worn in the summer. This fabric is stretchy, mesh like fabric made with recycled polyester in a traditional Karamiori process.
