[KUON×TAGS WKGPTY] 1st Collection "Stay Gold"

Hi it's Shohei.

I would like to introduce the products from the first collaborated collection with "TAGS WKGPTY" releasing tomorrow, Wednesday, April 24 in JST.

Before getting to the main topic, as you know, a state of emergency has been declared again for this holiday season. We'll keep our store open with taking all possible measures for prevention of COVID-19, but It's not in a situation that we can loudly say "come visit us"...Please feel free to contact us via email, Instagram messenger, or phone for product information or questions. Our top priority is your health and we are happy to support your shopping in any ways as long as we can.

Now let's get down to the topic.

Classroom, desks and lockers...nostalgia.

This is a collaboration project between KUON and TAGS WKGPTY, both designers graduated Bunka Fashion College about 10 years ago at the same time. The lookbook that has already been released was shot with the full cooperation of Bunka Fashion College.

The story behind the collaboration and Ishibashi's thoughts will be posted on KUON's official "note" tomorrow(English version may be later), so please look forward to it.

Now, let's take a look at the items.

【L/S Work Shirt "WOVEN SONG"】

High-count dense poplin fabric elegantly woven with glossy, low-fluff cotton yarn with strongly presented graphics.

An open ring snap on the neck band brings Workwear-ness.

White shirts are often kept simple, but it is nice to see the prints on the back as well.

【WOVEN SONG S/S】(White, Black)

Unlike the shirt above, this one is boldly printed over the seams. It creates a tasteful, grazed atmosphere.

【WOVEN SONG S/S -Back logo-】(White,Black)

This is a standard "graphic and logo" t-shirt.

These t-shirts are made of 6 oz. heavy weight fabric, tough and rugged. They have been washed and tumbled, so you don't have to worry about shrinking.

【Climbing Shorts "WOVEN SONG"】

An Outdoor-style shorts with all-over pattern print. Made of fine, fluff-free cotton fabric treated with an anti-virus process, VIBTEX™.

【Baseball Cap "WOVEN SONG"】

【Face Mask "WOVEN SONG"】

Baseball caps and Face masks are treated with an anti-virus process, VIBTEX™ as well.

WOVEN SONG

This is the main graphic for this collection named "WOVEN SONG". It is inspired by "fabric," one of the keywords that cannot be ignored when talking about KUON. A collage of cut-out English sentences is used as warp and weft threads to express "fabric".

Be sure to check out the interior and exterior of the store, which will be redecorated to the launch.(I will share the photos after the launch)
