The last drop of KUON FW21 collction will be in stores in Japan this Saturday. It has been about 2 months since the first drop arrived at the store, finally all items from the collection will be available. Here I introduce some items from the drop.
１．UPCYCLED SILK KIMONO Bal Collar Coat
We have been receiving a lot of inquiries about kimono patchwork fabric, and a coat made from it will be finally available.
200 years ago, during the Edo-period in Japan, the clothing colors of ordinary citizens were strictly regulated by the government. Men and women were only allowed to wear brown, gray and indigo blue. However,the people, through their ingenuity and creativity, came up with many variations of these colors, inventing more than a hundred new tones of each. We have restricted our color palette to blue, brown and gray in this collection to express Japanese aesthetic of color and the creativity that comes from oppression by using tonal fabrics with different luster.

２．Upcycled Irish Sweater
The sweater is patchworked with vintage Irish sweaters that has damages.

"This dress embodies the KUON concept of "creating the future by reincarnating old and unusable things.
I helped with the cutting, but it was a lot of work...it's a very time-consuming item. I hope you will have a chance to see it.
3.ONIBEGIE QUILT 3/4 Pants
The next up is a pair of shorts for fall and winter that we have started proposing since the Fall / Winter 2020. They can expand the possibility of your coordinations.
Isn't it cool? It's easy to balance with outerwear, and makes it easier to try items that you haven't tried before.
The fabric is Nylon dyed with natural ingredients. Acacia in Brown, Indigo in Navy and logwood in Gray color. The color is soft and you must feel as if the fabric is a natural material. I'm attracted by these colors.
Furthermore, coats made of this fabric will also be available. I'll be introducing the coats in the future, so stay tuned for that next time!
This drop is the largest volume in the collection, so you will be able to feel that fall and winter has arrived in the store and the online store.
