First of all, we appreciate all of you visited our pop-up for Isetan Art Week. Now we are back in normal operation and I would like to write about our latest collection.
The product mentioned in this article today is a style that can be a standard of KUON.
Since the fall/winter 2022 season, this style has been included in all collections with minor and major updates because many of us like the style.
This season, it looks new and fresh with updates.

It features a collar reminiscent of kimono, named the Kimono collar, and has undergone four updates, making it one of KUON's most beloved items.
So, why is it so loved? Let's take a closer look at the secret.
Minimalistic and profound
Because of its minimalist design, it goes well with any items and have a moderately Japanese atmosphere, which is typical of KUON.
When customers come out of the fitting room, no matter what kind of coordination they are in, I find that they are in some kind of Japanese atmosphere. However, it is not a full-fledged Japanese style like a kimono, but a just-right Japanese style.
It is difficult to put it into words. However, I think the joy of fashion is to see and feel it, and because of the minimalist design, I feel a depth that cannot be expressed in words, and I hope you enjoy it.
In fall, wear it just as a shirt.
In winter, you can wear sweaters or hoodies underneath. It works well in any coordination!

Since there is no lining, the shirket is not as heavy as a jacket and has a relaxed feel. Another point not to be missed is the small tuck in the collar area, which are designed to make the collar a little more three-dimensional.
The addition of pockets is another point of evolution from shirt to shirket. A zippered pocket accessed from the side and a patch pocket accessed from the top.
Of course you can put things in them, but the side pockets are nice and secure when you have trouble finding a place to put your hands.

The 9oz light-weight denim fabric has a white core yarn that is a characteristic of rope-dyed yarn. So, we can enjoy ageing for over time.
