Since the fall/winter collection was launched, I have been having a great time talking with our customers every day.
The item introduced today, like the Kimono Collar Shirt and Kintsugi Shirt introduced the other days, is perfect for the current mood of "I'm in the mood for shirts rather than cut and sewn, but not in the mood for common shirts...".
To be honest, I personally wasn't interested in this shirt because it seemed like a standard item. When I saw a customer trying it on in the store, I realized that it is actually a perfect piece for my current mood. I didn't know how much the impression would change just by changing a shape of collar...

Most of the customers who looked at the above photo from the LOOKBOOK with me in the store were like "What is he wearing?" This is a CROSS SASHIKO Band Collar Shirt worn as an inner layer of the CROSS SASHIKO Regular Collar Shirt. It's a shirt-on-shirt. It looks much decent compared to when we wear a T-shirt underneath shirts.
On the other hand, it will give you a casual impression when the shirt is worn unbuttoned. The shape is trendy and relaxed, yet somehow clean and neat. The secret lies in the sleek sleeves that contrast with the roomy body.
The fabric is KUON's standard Cross Sashiko, but it is finished with garment dyeing in this collection. Therefore, it is easy to wear from the day you get it, and you will get the impression as if it has been in your wardrobe for years.

The fabric is densely woven, so you don't have to worry about wrinkles so much. It is best worn as replacements of a long sleeve T-shirt or a flannel shirt with a little looseness! (I like the feeling of not being too serious)
I recommend you to try one size bigger than usual, too!
It must be good as a inner layer of shirt jacket when it gets cooler!
