Sakiori Trimmed Hoodie

Do you remember the distinctive colorway of Sakiori on the hem?
Right, it is made for the collaboration with Nick Wooster released last year.

Of course, this Sakiori is made by Saccora Japan in Iwate prefecture where Ishibashi, our designer is from. 

I still remember that we had so many inquiries on the collaboration even though it was not available at our store. Even I didn't have a chance to see the collection in person...

For people like me, Ishibashi made a special hoodie that comes with the Sakiori, remnants of the collaboration. 

↑Ishibashi and Taku, director of KUON show the remnants to Nick and explain making the hoodie when he visited us a few months ago during his stay in Tokyo as a jury of TOKYO FASHION AWARD 2023.

Nick wore a shirt from the last collaboration that has the Sakiori on pockets!

You can feel a touch of the atmosphere of the collaboration through this hoodie.

Details

The hem is designed a bit wider than usual ribbed hems. 

It features a drawstring on the hem and the shape can be changed by that.

I personally like the shape when I squeeze the drawstring.

As for the hood part, it stands beautifully. 

Plus, large enough to wear.

Of course, it has handwarmer pockets.

In addition to the "Nick's hoodie", we made some hoodies with vintage Sakiori.
