We are pleased to announce that KUON Flagship Store is celebrating its 2nd anniversary.
I think I wrote about our first anniversary on this blog a while ago...one year has passed since then...so fast.
Over the past year, many new people have come to visit us. And I believe that we have become even closer to those who have been coming to our store for a long time. (I hope you feel the same way.)
Thanks to you all, we can celebrate the 2nd anniversary of our Flagship store. Thank you so much!
We would like to express our gratitude to all of you by holding a second anniversary event on Friday, September 23, 2022. We are looking forward to seeing you at the store with our special events, so please come and join us.
Special products
I'll get into the main topic, first.
We have created special items for the 2nd anniversary using rare and hard-to-find vintage Sakiori and Boro. You will enjoy just looking at each item. Don't miss them!
This is a special cardigan made of vintage Sakiori. It is harder to find vintage Sakiori than Boro these days. We don't know when will we be able to produce the next one....
This is a regular collar shirt with Upcycled Boro. The back of the collar is made of printed fabric for ease of wear. It is not only functional, but can also be enjoyed as a design point.
We also have a shirt jacket, a cardigan and more. Of course, all of them are one-of-a-kind!

Handpan live performance "Fugaku Youhei"
We will be holding a hand pan live performance by Fugaku Youhei, who performed hand pan on our runway for the Fall/Winter 2018 collection.
This is the video of the runway show.
He will play the handpan for twice; from 3pm and 7pm. It will be about 30 minutes each.
Youhei-san came to KUON Flagship Store right after its opening to celebrate us, and gave us an impromptu live performance. The power and delicacy of the live sound is beyond description. You should come and listen to it!

We have prepared two kinds of pound cakes: rum raisin and walnut, which has been popular since OYATSUYA SUN's establishment, and honey lemon, which even children can eat. *Please note that the number of cakes is limited.
BTW, Mr. Umezawa, the owner of OYATSUYA SUN has been featured on KUON Snap a while ago.
