SAKIORI stands out among our FW22 collection. We believe that the SAKIORI items in this collection are especially fresh and new.
SAKIORI itself is composed only of greenish colors. However, it is made of a combination of materials with different expressions such as cotton, polyester, acrylic, nylon, wool, polyurethane, etc. Some parts are shiny, some parts are matte, and it is more expressive than it looks in photos and has a great presence.
The source of the color scheme is "darkness in forest". Based on the designer's inspiration, SAKIORI was woven by hand by SACCORA JAPAN. The designer's image was shown on the PC, and the finished Sakiori was exactly as he had imagined. I could see their teamwork.

The main item in this season's SAKIORI lineup is the Sukajan.
The impact of this item tends to attract people's attention to the SAKIORI, but in fact, the designer's intentions are also packed in other parts of the item. Today, we would like to introduce some of them.
First, the ribs. The ribs are knitted with green yarn to match the SAKIORI.
It has a stripe design. Although it is a standard design technique to put stripe in ribs, KUON has never actually adopted it. The answer to why this season's ribs come with stripes lies in the season's concept.
When seen from the front, the ribs tend to be blurred by the impact of the Sakiori fabric, but when seen from the back...
They become main design.
And since the body is made of a fabric with low luster, it has none of the unpleasant yankiness of Sukajan that some people have a kind of stereotype. The back of the jacket gives off the easy-to-wear feel of a track jacket.
Next is the sleeves. Two different fabrics are switched, but instead of just switching, piping cords are used to emphasize the boundary line.

Yes, it's a technic of Kintsugi. Just by adding piping to the border, the sleeves look much smarter when seen from the side. Please check the appearance from the side when you try it on.
"Horizontal lines" drawn by the Sakiori and ribs, and "vertical lines" drawn by the piping, when they exist in one piece of clothing, no matter how tonal colors are used, they will tend to be look messy.
Diagonal lines like raglan sleeves, the welt of the pockets, and the draping of the back and sleeves harmonize the lines.
It is easy to get caught up in the Sakiori, but since the designer seems to live by the motto "God is in the details," the designer's intentions are scattered in points that at first glance may not be noticed. Please look for them when you check KUON products.
