A quilted jacket and a tote bag that are specially ordered to LAVENHAM, the leading factory brand in the UK. Lavenham's products are still carefully sewn one by one in their own factory in Sudbury, Suffolk.

For this special order, we used indigo Sashiko fabric produced at a long-established dyeing and weaving atelier with a history of 150 years in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. They still work on all the process to produce fabrics from dyeing threads (indigo dye) to finishing to maintain the quality of the fabric. These two have similarities in their attitude and craftsmanship.

A jacket represents LAVENHAM is a type of simple and smart product. We chose this style to recommend wearing as a jacket instead of its original purpose, an overcoat. Its outer fabric is our Sashiko fabric, but its puffing remains LAVENHAM’s original one, so it became a unique looking-high-performance jacket with excellent heat retention, lightness and moisture permeability.
