Fabric

Suminagashi is an ancient Japanese transfer technique in which dye is dripped into water in a tank and the freely spreading shape is copied directly onto the cloth to create the pattern. In a workshop in Kyoto, craftsmen create each piece of cloth one by one in a smooth process. No two patterns are alike. The material used is cupro/cotton with good coloring. This material is slippery and cool, ideal for summer.
