This is a 40 count cotton single yarn poplin material that has been air flow processed to break up the firmness of the fabric.
The suminagashi pattern is printed by pigment inkjet directly on the dyed fabric. It is difficult to put a light color on top of a dark color, but we achieved this after repeated trial runs using the latest equipment.
