This denim uses a rope-dyed yarn in warp and a hank-dyed yarn in weft, both with sulfide dyes.
The undyed core portion on the warp appears on the surface over time.
On the other hand, the weft is dyed black to the core using a hank-dyeing process, so it is difficult to discolor.
These contrast produces a vintage like crisp faded look similar to indigo denim.
