Salt shrinking is a processing method which involves immersing nylon fibers in caustic soda (Sodium hydroxide) and applying unevenness onto surface. By making the yarn bulged, the volume of fibers increase and the fabric become to look shrank. It’s light yet tough, and resistant to water.
