One of KUON's fabric suppliers from Japan has been working on a project for more than 10 years to create work opportunities for people in rural India where there are few options to make a living aside from the cultivation of cotton. This patchwork fabric was produced as a result of this employment project. It is a sustainable material that uses leftover and stock fabrics to reduce environmental impact and improve the overall working environment.
