Hi, this is Shohei.
Ripples formed by rain on the surface of water, waves lapping on the beach, net patterns on bamboo baskets... The "線-lines-" expressed in this collection are gradually coming together at our store. Another one represents "Kintsugi," a traditional Japanese technique for repairing ceramics and lacquerware as well.
This season, due to the influence from the restrictions for COVID, we have not been able to have our products available as scheduled, and we have had to release a few each week, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It is as if we are waiting for foreign players who could not make it to the season opener for the same reason.
However, I'm secretly happy that I have more opportunities to communicate with you, such as informing you of new arrivals and having you checking our store and online store frequently.
Now, I'd like to introduce "lines" that are in the store.
Ripple Patchwork
This patchwork depicts rain beating on the surface of water. It is made from remnants of fabrics used in FW22 collection, such as corduroy, wool, moleskin, French terry, etc., and thus contains the essence of this collection.
The Sashiko, hand-stitched patchwork is, of course, one of a kind. Although it is a regular collar shirt, it has thickness and weight and can be worn as a replacement for a jacket.
Shirt jacket, 3/4 Length Pants and Slim Pants are also available.
"Kintsugi"
Multi Patterned Dickie w/Hand Stich
Inspired by the "yobi-tsugi" technique, a kind of Kintsugi, these items are created by combining different fabrics and knitting patterns. The jackets are made of plain and striped wool joined with shiny satin, and the dickie is a combination of several different knitting patterns.
Matching Kintsugi pants and a sweater and a cardigan designed in the same direction with the dickie will also be available soon.
Coming soon
As soon as they are in stock, we will announce you on our blog, newsletter and social media like Instagram. Look forward to them!
Thank you.
