In Japan, we have a traditional custom called « Fukubukuro » for the New Year Day.
Fukubukuro means « lucky bag », in which merchants make grab bags filled with unknown random items and sell them for a substantial discount. Many Japanese people enjoy Fukubukuro, not just because of its low price, but also to try their luck for the New Year.
Recently there are more and more Fukubukuros that we can see the inside, but KUONs’ are the traditional ones- the items cannot be checked!
We have prepared 1 Fukubukuro for each size with 3 kinds : $270 (equivalent to $630), $450 (equivalent to $1100), and $720(equivalent to $1800yen).
