花鳥風月-Kachofugetsu-

 
This word is a traditional Japanese idiom that means the beauties of nature and the traditional themes of natural beauty in Japanese aesthetics. It also means to enjoy the beauty of nature.
 
The word kachofugetsu consists of these characters:
花(ka): flower, 鳥( cho): bird, 風:(fu): wind/air, 月(getsu):moon
 
The fundamental strength, beauty and vitality of nature are the source of KUON’s inspiration for Spring/Summer 2021. The Japanese perceive nature through the complex concept of “wabi," which originally means “to accept and to enjoy the present situation.” This collection expresses “coexistence with mother nature”; essential for human beings, while focusing on inner beauty and abundance.
